About the ANSO Scholarship
The Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), an international non-profit organization, was founded in 2018 with the aim of promoting the regional collaboration of science and talent development. ANSO’s membership spans over 60 institutions, and its aim is to support young researchers in underdeveloped areas of the world and train them to be creative sources of leadership in science and technology.
The ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents is the flagship programme of the initiative. Each year it provides 500 fully funded scholarships, including 200 full funding awards for Master’s students and 300 full funding awards for PhD students. The programme is organised jointly by ANSO, USTC, UCAS and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
For this reason, the selected students do not simply study, but have access to the advanced laboratories, advanced research projects and world-renowned professors located at the cutting edge of China.
